FCS Eagles hold off the Quantico Warriors to remain unbeaten. 

If you were looking for a good defensive game, Saturday was the day to be at FCS Upper School Campus. The Eagles battled through injuries and mistakes to beat DAC opponent Quantico Warriors by a score of 19-15. Offensively the Eagles were lead by JR RB Carter Thompson. Thompson caught 5 passes for 133 yards and a TD, while also adding 4 carries for 61 yards and another TD. The tough and physical play Thompson brings to the team is unmatched by anybody we've seen this season. Head coach Billy Thomas describes Thompson as "the hardest running kid we got". 

Defensively the Eagles were lead by SR LB Tahriq Legette who has 19 solo tackles on the year and JR DE Austin Marshall who has 20 solo tackles on the year. Both these young men played outstanding defensively and bring great energy on the defensive side of the ball. Legette recovered a fumble for FCS Saturday, while FR Safety Cross Conway came up big with an interception at the 2 yard line. 

The Eagles host D1 school Sidwell Friends on Saturday. Sidwell is winless on the year, but don't let that fool you. They have played 2 tough opponents early on and come in Saturday with a lot of speed and size. FCS has lost to SF the past 2 years and do not want to keep that streak going. The Eagles must play physical and not turn the ball over if they wish to stay unbeaten. Saturday's game is a PINK OUT, so come out dressed in Pink supporting awareness for breast cancer. 2:00 is kick-off time. GO EAGLES
