FCS defeated the Fuqua Falcons Friday night for their first game of the year. Offensively the Eagles flew for 282 rushing yards and 104 passing yards. To start the game FCS decided to receive the ball at the beginning of the 2nd half, so they started on defense forcing a quick 3 and out. 2 plays later JR Aaron Johnson takes the handoff around the edge and runs for a 44 yard touchdown run. Johnson didn't stop there, he continued running the ball well behind JR lineman Austin Marshall and JR Daniel Tate for a total of 205 rushing yards. Antwan Johnson also had a good game offensively for the Eagles rushing 9 times for 30 yards and going 4-9 passings for 91 yards and a TD. Defensively the Eagles played well. SR Joe Riley intercepted a pass and went 101 yards for a touchdown early in the game. SR linebacker Tahriq Legette had 10 tackles on the night as well. The Eagles travel to King and Queen (Central) High School Friday for week 2.
