Coach DeArmas comes to FCS with a lot of football playing experience. He graduated from private school powerhouse DeMatha Catholic High School where he kicked. He went on to the University of Maryland until he transferred to the University of Connecticut. At UCONN he is tied for 1st for the most field goals made in a single game (4), 5th for the number of field goals in a season (17) and 7th for most field goals in a career (30). UCONN named one of his field goals as the top 5 "biggest field goal" in UCONN history.
